The 2025 Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Climate Conference, co-hosted by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Civic Exchange, was held in Hong Kong on 14–15 January 2025. Bringing together over 200 experts, the event explored how NbS can be harnessed to address both the causes and consequences of climate change. With a special focus on the Northern Metropolis (NM), this report makes a strong case for mainstreaming NbS into Hong Kong’s urban future—linking climate resilience, ecological health, and sustainable development through collaborative and forward-thinking strategies.
